Please don't steal my artwork, any part of it!

So recently I was updating some Zazzle and greeting card universe sites with some new & older illustrations I did. Lo and behold on google I run across MY illustration of my cupcake frenchie on someone elses portfolio! Now while a teeny weeny bit of me was flattered, the other BIG part was thinking WTF?

Who goes and take a persons illustrations and puts them on a professional design job site as their own? Now granted the said person took the cupkace only from the illustration, but hey IT'S MY CUPCAKE ILLUSTRATION! AND.....she used it for an identity package for an actual business. So she probably got paid for it!

So now I have to go through this lengthy process with my lawyer, (yes I have a lawyer people), and figure out if I'm suing or what. Nice, very nice.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Thanks for liking my art, seriously! But please DO NOT under any circumstances take it! Even if you think you are gonna change a few things, it's still copyrighted by me & I WILL contact my lawyer!

J

Let's get updated shall we!

OK, ok I know i'm HORRIBLE about updating for like what a year? So my sincere apologies! I just want to say that I had a life growing inside me that made me tired, sick, and pretty much large until the day she arrived! lol

She's the best thing ever and has been demanding all my free time when I am home from my professional job. She's finally a little older and things have calmed down, so I am able to get back into illustrating again for myself :) Yea!

I created a facebook group fan page for my art as well. Please feel free to join and stay even more up to date on what im doing in my spare time:)

Muerte Day of the Dead Artwork Featured on Zazzle!

OK so I know i'm bad and it's been too long since I updated my blog. Sorry! I've had a ton going on in my life since Xmas, which was my last post. First things 1st Im preggers with my 1st child and have been getting ready for her to come into the world :) 2nd, after xmas we lost our beloved French Bulldog who was paralyzed from 2 dehabilitating spinal ruptures (common for the breed), and I have been greiving his loss pretty badly.

I finally have taken some time and did a new design, a Muerte Skull Day of the Dead design. My husband's tattoo on his leg was what inspired me. Last year we took a trip to Mexico and loved it! I hope you enjoy my Muerte illustration as much as we loved Mexico!

So no sooner than I posted it up for sale on Zazzle and Cafepress, then lone & behold Zazzle features it as Today's Best Design! So way cool. Then I see my Tattoo MOM heart shirt is on the homepage featured also. So that's 2 design in 1 day that have gotten called out. I can say today is a good one ;)
So hey thanks for stopping by and have a look at my galeries for cool, urban hip designs!

My Robot Arwork now as a playing card!

So about a month ago I joined this art contest where you pick a playing card & design something relevant to that card. I submitted a really cute robot that had 3 hearts on his chest, for the 3 of hearts card. I am excited to say that he ahs been chosen & will be on a deck of artist playing cards that will be for sale! The site is called Custom 52 (we are playing without a full deck), which is by far supremely wittyI think! Custom 52 is an Online Community that uses playing cards as their canvas, entries are graded by your peers & only the strong will survive!!!

The top design for each playing card will be chosen to go to print & a deck of the top submissions will be produced & go on sale for the world to enjoy. How freaking cool! So here is a snapshot of all Deck 2's artwork that will be available on a deck of cards. Purchase them from the Custom52 website!

Cycle 3 is going on now, so if you got some creativity in you that you wanna let loose...now is the time!

Happy Holidays and Have a great New Year! See ya on the flip side ;)

OK so a while back I entered into Zazzle's "pimp our logo Contest". You had to take their logo & design something around it and with it. Well today I got back the results and was happy to find out I got 2nd place!

So now I have to figure out soemthing to do with my prize $, which shouldn't be hard considering the holidays are coming up!!! LOL I was thinking of getting a new digital camera, so that could be fun ;)
Anyways if you haven't seen it, check out my design below!

FROM THE JUDGES:

My Artwork featured on Sabet TV!

So 2 features in 1 day! First teh Girl Geek Blog and now Sabet TV has featured one of my heart illustrations! All I can say ladies and gentlemen is that I am honored & very excited for this.

I just found the Sabet TV site yesterday and was instantly drawn in by the community and creativity going on there. YOu can create your own gallery and portfolio of work for others to see, people can comment on your designs, and you can do the same for other people.

It's not only a great artist networking site, but it also has a plethra of other art links all over the site that take you to other various art & design places.

I have to tell you that this site is one of my newest favs. If you haven't heard about it yet, go by and check it out, you'll be glad you did!

Check it out! And thanks Queen of the Girl Geeks, i'm honored!
